Winter walk Hatfield Park

Ella has been having short walks for a few months due to lameness that also showed up arthritis in front left leg.

Bloody hell, 7th birthday already

Dog show award winner

She only went and won the Pedigree Girl category and then went on the 2nd in Best of Show at the Bermondsey Fair dog show. Perfect girl.

Back from groomer

She always looks less happy after a groom.... but soon picks up and always looks fresh and smart.

Brighton

Bank holiday weekend, took train to Brighton and caught up with Kathy at her Mews Art Studio. Ella was happy girl.

6 years and still young

Dr Salter Bermondsey

Ella sitting next to the new statue of Dr Alfred Salter, by sculptor Diane Gorvin. The life-size figures of Dr Alfred & Ada Salter and their daughter and her cat are on the Thames path at Bermondsey, just downriver from Shad Thames.

Birthday girl

Ella is six today. We walked along river to Tate Modern and back to through Southwark to Bermondsey.

Surgery

Ella has had a tumour removed from her left cheek. The lab test came back with good news - "As this example has evidently been removed with a clear margin of normal I do not expect it to recur , therefore the prognosis is good".

Autumn in London

Been enjoying the driest warmest September on record... here taking a break walking Charing X Rd and balmy evening on the Thames at Potters Fields, Bermondsey.

Grooming day...

Had six monthly groom at Oaklands College. Her coat is stripped. Chalk is put into her coat and the groomer then hand strips before bathing. Long tiring job I'm told.

Early Autumn in SE1...

It's been a perfect start to Autumn here....

South Coast, beach walks...

Spent the Bank Holiday on South Coast walking the beaches at Pevensey Bay and Seven Sisters Country Park.
